The Visalia Panthers 10-and-under AYSO boys soccer team captured the State Cup championship on Saturday in Davis.

It was the first state championship any Visalia AYSO team has won.

"It was very exciting for the kids," Visalia Panthers coach Baltazar Marquez said. "

The Panthers went 27-0 en route to their state title. They defeated L.A. Central (Los Angeles) 5-4 in the championship game
